Electroplating Hazardous Waste Treatment

Classification of hazardous waste from electroplating of circuit boards

1. Waste acid solution, waste alkali solution, and waste organic solvent; They are all hazardous waste,

and their hazardous waste codes are HW34、HW35 and HW06.

2. Chromium containing waste liquid, filter residue, and corresponding sludge;Chromium containing waste liquid,

filter residue, and sludge are all hazardous wastes, and the hazardous waste number should be HW21.

3. Nickel containing waste liquid, filter residue, and corresponding sludge; Its hazardous waste code is HW46.

4. The sources of silver containing waste liquid, filter residue, and corresponding sludge are similar to chromium

  containing hazardous waste.

5. Cyanide containing electroplating waste liquid, filter residue, and corresponding sludge.

6. Copper containing waste liquid, filter residue, and corresponding sludge; The hazardous waste code is HW17,

but for the individual copper containing waste liquid,The hazardous waste code should be HW22.

7. The sources of zinc, tin, and other alloy waste liquids, filter residues, and corresponding sludge

are similar to hazardous waste containing chromium,The hazardous waste code should be HW23.

8. Defective plated parts, waste plating solution and corresponding sludge; The plating waste liquid comes from

the chemical composition of unqualified electroplating products.

The hazardous waste code for electroplating or electrolytic electroplating is HW17.

9. The transfer hole powder (waste resin powder) is numbered 900-453-13;Waste film residue, number: 900-253-12.

10. Waste mineral oil, hazardous waste number HW08.
